Ryder J. Music

Ryder J. McGinnis (he/him) is a singer-songwriter, composer, educator, and producer based in Treaty Six Territory, Edmonton, Alberta. Music is both a puzzle and a spiritual experience, and creation is an exercise in both problem-solving and intuition. These are the things that fascinate Ryder in all the different ways he engages with music.

As a composer, Ryder experiments with minimalism and impressionism. He is interested in painting sonic “portraits” that move and shimmer. As a songwriter and performer, he loves to play with bold rhythms and major harmonies. Bright vocals and groove connect him with his audience.
